This beautiful but shy girl is Gypsie, a shih tzu X husky – yes you read that correctly, mom was a shih tzu, dad a small husky. She is one of Jinx’s pups who through no fault of her own returned to our care recently. Gypsie is a very sweet and affectionate 1.5 year old pup who weighs about 25lbs. She is fairly nervous of men and new people but warms up and she loves other dogs and is fine with cats as well. There is no aggression in her at all, she’s just timid.… We are looking for a quiet home with no children and absolutely must have another dog to help continue building her confidence. She loves her walks but does need some work on leash manners and she still has the occasional accident in the home, though she’s learning. Being part husky, she is vocal when crated so a detached home is a must – no apartments or condos for this girl unfortunately. Gypsie is spayed and up to date on all vaccinations, and her adoption fee is $400. The application and a description of the adoption process can be found at www.otowndogrescue.com
