Tasha is around 9 years old and Collie Shepherd mix is our best guess as to her breed. She is house trained, and non destructive, although she does not like to be crated. She is good with cats and dogs, but does not like hyper dogs bouncing around in her face. She lives happily with many dogs, but will tell them when they are in her space. She is low key, and doesnt bark much. She likes to go for walks and “talk” to her people in true shepherd style. She is spayed, and fully vaccinated. She initially showed signs of back end weakness, however since being walked and running around she has gained significant muscles. She will however go to her new forever home with a years supply of meds for her hips (given her breed). but they are not currently an issue. She is loving, loves to be pet, loves to be brushed and is a total sweetheart. A dream in the car, she will be a loyal and loving companion. She will be adopted compassionately (no adoption fee) however a donation is greatly appreciated to put towards another dog in need- just like Tasha. How You Can Help
Helping Ottawa Dog Rescue meet it’s goals is EASY – you can look into:
- our “Foster Program“
- our “Virtual Fostering Program“
or simply by making a donation.
Based in Ottawa, Ontario, Ottawa Dog Rescue (also known as O-Town Dog Rescue) is a federally registered non-profit organization that is dedicated to saving the lives of dogs in need.
Our team of volunteers and our Board of Directors have one goal, and one goal only - to help match the dogs that come through our doors with the most loving foster and adoptive homes possible.
We look forward to helping you find the dog you want to give a "furever home" to.
