Meet Watson, a typical basset hound that loves to sing to you and who has a strong personality. Watson will need a very specific and dog savvy home with no children as he can be reactive to quick movements and has a startle reflex that can get him into trouble at times. He is a very sweet and affectionate dog but his ears cause blind spots and he can react inappropriately in certain situations, which we will clearly explain to potential adopters (approached suddenly without him knowing you are there, grabbing quickly for his collar). Watson has a heart murmur but is not symptomatic and has no problem keeping up with the crew. He has no food issues and as a matter of fact when asked he will back away and let you take it. He gets along really well with other dogs and would love a canine companion. We feel that he can live happily in the right home with owners who understands his triggers. As such we are asking a nominal adoption fee of $100 to cover cover his vetting and help him find that second chance.
