Little Tico is a pint sized bundle of love. He adores people, and is great with everyone though we are looking for a child free home due to his size and that he does have his limits if they don’t know when to leave him alone. He’s a loving and affectionate lap dog who enjoys being with his people. He could be an only dog, but a calm and balanced small dog works well as a companion with slow and supervised intros – he does adjust and like their company once he is comfortable. He does NOT like other strange or large dogs so his forever home will have to be willing to accept that and work with him. He hasn’t been around cats. He will sit and come reliably, he does bark but will quiet on command and his leash walking is good. His housetraining is coming along well. He is not a dog that can be crated but he is non-destructive and generally good loose in the house (see housetraining).
He would be a wonderful addition to a lower-energy or retired home. Tico is neutered, up to date on vaccines and his adoption fee is $400.
